Yo this past week was a highlight of my career and a highlight of my life ❤️🥹✨ I grew up going to see the national tours that came through the Overture Center in Madison (thanks Mom and Dad for being season subscribers and for taking me and my sis to see incredible live theatre ❤️🙏🏻) and this past week I got to perform on that stage in a beautiful national tour surrounded by so many wonderful humans onstage, backstage, and in the audience. I’m still pinching myself!!

At the risk of sounding emo and dramatic, if you told 13 year old Michelle that she’d be performing on that stage in a national tour one day, I don’t think she’d believe you. I didn’t know I was allowed to dream that big at that age. So this past week was bigger than a dream come true for me. I’m feeling so overwhelmed with love and support and gratitude to be living this life ❤️🥹✨

Thank you to everyone who came out to see the show this past week!! It was such a treat to connect with so many friends, family members, and former teachers - thank you all for being a part of my journey and supporting my artistic endeavors! My heart is so full!! We closed A Chorus Line @phxtheatre on Sunday and yoooo what an experience!! This was my first time swinging a show and boy oh boy I learned soooo much during this process! The past 48 hours have been a whirlwind and doing live theater in the age of Covid is so wild. For the remainder of our run of INDECENT, I’ll be on for the role of Halina and split tracking my original accordion track. So for our reimagined INDECENT 2.0, Halina plays the accordion and also dances in the rain 🪗🌧️❤️

Y’all these humans that I’m working with at @playhouseonpark are the most generous, supportive, beautiful stars. Huge shoutout to @sydney.weiser our rockstar female swing for stepping into the Chana track and for picking up Halina parts when I can’t always double duty on the accordion - you are such a giving scene partner and wow wow wow such a superstar swing! Also bless @rothen821 for stepping into a show with only hours notice and doing so with such grace and kindness. And @kellyr2d2 , our glorious director, THANK YOU for making the last minute trip to CT for our giant put in rehearsal.
